SIPADAN SCUBA PADI TecRec Courses
Go Beyond Traditional Limits!
When one tank is not enough!
The entry point into the technical range provides a transition from recreational to tech. A Tec40 diver is qualified to complete up to 10 minutes of non-accelerated decompression while breathing from 1 additional deco cylinder of up to EANx50.
The depth limit during this course is 40m. Course Fee: RM1300.00
A Tec45 diver carries a full standard tech rig plus 1 additional deco cylinder. A qualified diver can complete accelerated decompression dives using any mix of EANx and pure oxygen.
The depth limit during this course is 45m. Course Fee: RM1800.00
This qualification represents a high level of competency for a technical diver who is qualified to use air/EANx/oxygen for extended accelerated decompression dives.
The depth limit during this course is 50m. Course Fee: RM2300.00
An intermediate certification between Tec50 and Trimix Diver this qualification allows a diver to make multistop trimix decompression dives using EANx and oxygen for accelerated decompression. A Tec Trimix65 Diver uses a bottom gas with an oxygen content of 18% or more.
The depth limit during this course is 65m. Course Fee: RM3500.00 + GAS (Helium, O2)
For the extreme diver ready to further explore the world of technical deep diving, the gas of choice is Trimix – a blend of oxygen, helium and nitrogen.
Being qualified to use air, EANx, oxygen and trimix for multiple stop decompression dives using two or more decompression gases to accelerate or add conservatism to decompression does open the door to pristine dive sites few divers – if any – ever see, the "twilight zone". The depth during this course is 75m and beyond. Course Fee: RM4000.00 + GAS (Helium, O2)
More people are diving with enriched air and this means the demand for enriched air fills is also increasing. However, there needs to be someone qualified to administer these fills to meet this demand.
This is where the PADI Gas Blender course comes in. The PADI Gas Blender course will train you as a qualified gas blender, allowing you to provide gas mixes to appropriately certified consumers. You'll learn the physical properties of oxygen, its associated hazards, handling requirements and what cleaning equipment is necessary. Finally, you will learn the five methods of obtaining the desired enriched air nitrox mix and the various methods used to obtain proper helium mixes. Course Fee: RM800.00
